We would first like to say hello and thank you for visiting our site. Christ UMC has been a part of the Independence community for over 60 years. We are strong in tradition, and at the same time, we are looking toward the future for what new ideas God has to show us.
We invite you to visit our church and see what our congregation is all about. You will find that we offer a variety of worship. We offer four styles of worship over the weekend. One on Saturday and three on Sunday Morning. Each service meets you where you are, not matter where you are.
On Sunday mornings we have a variety of adult Sunday school classes. Each class has a different size and personality to it.
We offer a variety of activities to participate in outside of Sunday morning throughout the week. We have an amazing children’s program. The children are involved in music, artistic performances, and just down right having fun.
There is also a large vibrant youth group within our church. This group can be the loudest, craziest, and yet most fun group in the church.
